The collection – ‘On the Move’ with Montblanc was inspired by the desire of the Maison to help people embrace the inspirational power of their new-found mobility in the way they move and travel while on their quest to live a life of purpose and passion. This novel collection embodies a new vision of mobility that is at the heart of Montblanc’s DNA: the way we move inspires the mark we make.

The new collection consists of finely crafted companions to inspire people to follow their path and accompany them on their journey, including the Extreme 3.0 backpack with the climbing-inspired M Lock 4810, a StarWalker Black Cosmos writing instrument, the new Summit 3 smartwatch and the Montblanc 1858 GMT watch.

The launch event for the new collection was held at the Montblanc boutique, at the Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki, Lagos. With music, tasteful cuisine, a live creative artistic presentation, the event brought to life Montblanc’s bold new vision of mobility encapsulated in its cross-category collection of leather goods, writing instruments, connected technologies and timepieces.

The evening opened with a red-carpet session with all guests and was followed by a personal immersive experience into the Montblanc brand led by Montblanc’s team of luxury experts. Guests danced into the evening to the dynamic performance of DJ Oluwabruce, while the peak of the event was the live art performance by creative ‘paintertainer’, Nimi Izulu, who painted an impressive original Montblanc piece using just aerosol paint and fire.
