As a supreme example of its expertise, all Piaget's watchmaking and jewellery know-how are combined in this exceptional Altiplano model with its record-breaking thickness of only 6.44 mm. Thanks to its sapphire crystal case back this model majestically exhibits its Calibre 1200P, at only 2.35 mm the thinnest self-winding mechanical movement in the world, giving pride of place to its platinum oscillating weight decorated with the Piaget coat-of-arms. The parameters of this unrivalled calibre epitomise the Piaget's restless avant-garde spirit. Matching its technical versatility, its truly dazzling features bring this luxury watch to perfection, emphasising the codes of elegance of the Altiplano Collection. On the dial its slender black baton-shaped hour-markers are thus in marked contrast with the hour-circle with its dazzling baguette-cut diamonds, while the case, its profiles, the horns and even the folding-clasp buckle sparkle with their baguette-cut or brilliant-cut diamonds. The case back is also set with its row of diamonds. In all 260 hours of development and 30 hours of gem-setting were required to create this glittering timepiece ringed with diamonds.
